Aztec Lizardfolk

 So i was about to make my hardest decision. "Paint scheme" .  In this thread, i want to brain storm on color ideas and help you and myself on choosing the right colors. Lets start with this cute picture below. Any lizard will look nice with vibrant colors for sure. I am planning to paint all my chameleons in different colors. Is it too much ? What do you think ? Playing the lizards give a big chance on choosing colors. You can paint your minis in any color. There is no restriction for you at all. However just keep in your mind some delicate points. I am planning to paint tegus in orange/black for instance. That conuld create a nice look on the table, if you remember about my jungle bases in vibrant green colors. But i need to think about my carnasaur too. After imagining my orange tegu on carnasaur, i got little bit worried actually. jungle is green , carnasaur has to be in contrast with that and carnasaur has to be in contrast with the rider.   Hello Friends. Happy to see you in an other thread. This time i wanted you to see how my minis look after printing and wanted to tell you about how my journey goes on printing minis. As i notified before, i have chosen One Page Rules for my Saurians. Here below is mighty boss. Frog Mage! I am really happy about the result. Look at this beauty. Those leaves i must take care abit. Will show you painted one later hope that i will succeed. Do you remember that i praised the Titan Forge miniatures ? Check 28 and 32mm versions of a pathfinder mini they made. On the left there is the 28mm one. On the right, there is the 32mm version. 28mm version seems better fitting for my eyes. However 32mm one seems very enjoyable to paint. Do you see what i mean better now ? Titanforge minis are blast. They look pretty enough, dont have tiny bits and easy to paint. Here is my Tegu Guard. Check this beauty. One of the most over-sight things but "not for me". I like to make my bases nicely and want to create a theme for my armies. This time for Saurian Ancients i wanted to do the same. This is the final look of my 50x50mm base. To create this look i have used the below materials and here is how i made this base. 1. Cut mdf pieces. Do you remember the army list i gave in my first thread?  i got them cut in a wood atelier ,according to model measures. Skinks in 20x20mm , tegu guards 25x25cm , Frog mage 50x50mm etc. 2. Texture paste. I aplied a texture paste on the bases. Waited all to be dried. 3. Used 2 different sand types. One of them is more sandy . One is more on rocky type. Glued them on the base. Waited for them to be dried. and stabilized. 4. I drunk tea with my wife on friday night and used the remaining tea residues on this project. It gives fantastic leaves in jungle effect. 5. I bought some stuff from hobby store, which looks like some meadows in a jungle.  After these

 I would like make my comments about those 3d stl seller companies out there and like to notify my points for you to make for you more easy to select your armies and the related companies. What we are doing here ? We want to print our miniatures, paint them easilly / nicely and we want to move them, transport them without any problems. I wanted to write you like this because i was like one of you, guys who are impressed with the 3d render beauties i saw. I felt in love with many staff in Last sword and Lost Kingdom miniatures. They were looking really astonishing on screen. :) Some of you may noticed that i put a smiley face over there. So first off all , know this. Gorgeous 3d renders wont come up very nicely on reality. You will loose some details.  And worst thing is there will be needle like small pieces which will break very easily. You may have to glue them in the middle of the combat. It is disgusting to see your painted mini is broken in to pieces very easilly. There are some c

  I silently started this blog just to show how someone can start to play 9th age ,without knowing anything about the game on his 45th birthday. Ofcourse i played many things in the past. RPG games, infinity the game (as a miniature game example) and MTG too. After some friends have insisted and inspired me for a time to play the game, i had to choose an army myself and i had really hard time to choose one among these three. Undyeing dynasties, Saurian Ancients and Sylvan Elves. This is an other days' topic. So i decided to start the game with Saurian Ancients. I love the theme of Aztecs and dreamed about painting them in nice vibrant colors. About the minis, i wanted to start with One Page rules minis. Selecting the minis also is an other days' topic.
