I would like make my comments about those 3d stl seller companies out there and like to notify my points for you to make for you more easy to select your armies and the related companies.
What we are doing here ?
We want to print our miniatures, paint them easilly / nicely and we want to move them, transport them without any problems. I wanted to write you like this because i was like one of you, guys who are impressed with the 3d render beauties i saw.
I felt in love with many staff in Last sword and Lost Kingdom miniatures. They were looking really astonishing on screen. :)
Some of you may noticed that i put a smiley face over there. So first off all , know this. Gorgeous 3d renders wont come up very nicely on reality. You will loose some details.
And worst thing is there will be needle like small pieces which will break very easily. You may have to glue them in the middle of the combat. It is disgusting to see your painted mini is broken in to pieces very easilly.
There are some companies in the market very good on few things. They know that they are making miniatures for playing. They know that you will be painting them and they know how to prepare them.
Some of them are making a piece of art. They are damn nice on the screen. You fall in love.
But very hard to paint. Un-needed tons of details to make you crazy later while painting. They dont care if an arrow is thick enough or not. There are parts that you can break even, when you are painting them dudes. This is very bad.
Lost kingdom miniautures is such a company. Look at their 3d renders. These are very artistical on look. But... results are not like you expected. Anyways i strongly advice you to see their stuff. Please check their website if you havent heard about them yet. Here is an example, showing how talented they are. Those tiny tiny bits...
First of all, you will experience many faulty pieces, when you print them. You will loose time and money. Many pieces come seperately with tiny tiny details that will create so much anger on you.
You will face many difficulties painting them too. If you can manage to paint them, you can hardly move them. even by touching, they will be broken very easilly on tiny parts.
These minis are fantastic if you want to use them as show cases but maybe not that much suitable for playing.
Mini painted above is from Last sword miniatures. They do art too.
Last sword is better than lost kingdom. But there are still tiny tiny details out there. Hard to play them on the table but better at printing for sure. Painting them ? well you would prefer not to. Too much details.
Highlands are good. You will loose some render details but at the end they bring you nice minis, which are easy to print. I am impressed with their undead minis they made for Vampire Covenant.
My idea here is best are Titanforge and One Page rules.
Easy to print. All are presupported nicely. They have enough details to make minis interesting. They are very easy to paint. Especially titanforge minis are solid on bases. Titanforge miniates are creating minis by thinking these problems i mentioned, wisely and beforehand.
If you like to start an army with titanforge miniatures, you will never face any problems later. Look at the minis above. Not very detailed like other companies ok, but you will enjoy painting them. They never have tiny bits. You will see that they are much better than 3d renders in your hands. Look at the example below. This is what you see in render.
My friend who has some printers in his house made some trials for me which helped me greatly on this purpose. He has great prices indeed. Here i am adding his details if you dont know, where to print minis. He is living in Turkey and he is really doing a pro work.
Here is his email. Please write Erkan. Maybe he can help you.

Anyhow, i selected OnePage rules for my Saurian army. The reason for that is they almost have everything for Saurian army. I am planning to use titanforge for my sylvan elves later and i learned that they will be bringing full armies for nineth age later. We are lucky.
Look at the minis of onepage rules. They are in the middle with art type companies and Titanforge. They look awesome and they are easy to paint. They have some tiny details sometimes but tolerable. I will share my experiences in other thread, while painting them.
These are my humble opinions and just wanted to share my experiences with you guys. I hope that i could help.
