Printing your miniatures

Hello Friends. Happy to see you in an other thread. This time i wanted you to see how my minis look after printing and wanted to tell you about how my journey goes on printing minis. As i notified before, i have chosen One Page Rules for my Saurians. Here below is mighty boss. Frog Mage!

I am really happy about the result. Look at this beauty. Those leaves i must take care abit. Will show you painted one later hope that i will succeed.

Do you remember that i praised the Titan Forge miniatures ? Check 28 and 32mm versions of a pathfinder mini they made. On the left there is the 28mm one. On the right, there is the 32mm version. 28mm version seems better fitting for my eyes. However 32mm one seems very enjoyable to paint.

Do you see what i mean better now ? Titanforge minis are blast. They look pretty enough, dont have tiny bits and easy to paint.

Here is my Tegu Guard. Check this beauty.

Some tiny details not like titanforge however really an art going on here. Fantastic mini. It really looks enjoyable to paint this baby. We will see after. One page rules makes made a good job on offering us an alternative cheaper army even with better minis indeed!

On printing stage, please try to make it yourself or work with a guy who knows what he does. Here is the frog mage.

One Page rules gives you two alternatives. Either alone piece or 2 pieces . I have chosen a single piece to print. You have a chance for doing it seperately. Maybe you can take only frog and put in on a palanquin later. Fantastic idea for converters.

There was a big hole inside of the mini to make it use less resin. Did i say i love One Page rules ? They are a Great Company.

Above is the tegu guard leaders as renders on computer. They come all in one single piece. You dont need to combine pieces later.

Here is the gem of my army. My carnasaur. I am dyeing to paint you. ( seemed better than verb to die :P )

Ok . What we made here is increasing its volume at least %40.  I will use the normal tegu veteran and paint it as it is. I am sure that i will get nice results. Not printed it yet but already excited.

Hope that my thread served you well. I just want to show you all steps i took to get a fantastic look army. See you later.

Choosing your paint Scheme

So i was about to make my hardest decision. "Paint scheme" .  In this thread, i want to brain storm on color ideas and help you and myself on choosing the right colors. Lets start with this cute picture below. Any lizard will look nice with vibrant colors for sure. I am planning to paint all my chameleons in different colors. Is it too much ? What do you think ? Playing the lizards give a big chance on choosing colors. You can paint your minis in any color. There is no restriction for you at all. However just keep in your mind some delicate points. I am planning to paint tegus in orange/black for instance. That conuld create a nice look on the table, if you remember about my jungle bases in vibrant green colors. But i need to think about my carnasaur too. After imagining my orange tegu on carnasaur, i got little bit worried actually. jungle is green , carnasaur has to be in contrast with that and carnasaur has to be in contrast with the rider. People maybe painting tegus mor

Tegu guards + the frog mage in same unit

I started painting with one page rules' Tegu Guards and our Anurarch the frog mage. I thought deeply about what to print first and paint after and decided finally with one of the main units in Saurian Ancients. Here is why from my perspective. Initally, Tegu Guards, with as stats below is the main protector of our character frog mage which is one of our main strong points. Tegu guards are known as temple guards by old players. Lets evaluate together. Resilient enough and with Str 5 (together with Patu), Tegu guards are fantastic killers with 2 attacks. They always strike at the end of the initiative (they are too slow) and they always take the first hit but after the first blow, they answer very strong. they have also lodestone and +1 armor penetration. Lodestone  – Close Combat, Shooting Attack Attribute for Saurian Ancients Attacks with Lodestone are subject to the following rules when rolling to hit: • Close Combat Attacks allocated towards a model with Armour 3 or more gain +
